Eunice Choi, attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center and James Macon, President of ATU local 998 in Milwaukee, WI are the guests for the Monday, Oct. 12 broadcast of The Labor Forum on WRFG 89.3FM from 4-5pm.
Ms. Choi updates the listeners on immigration issues in metro Atlanta, particularly with Fulton County's relationship with ICE.
President Macon speaks about the fight back in Wisconsin against anti-union legislation and policies of Gov. Scott Walker's administration. On Oct. 5, the membership of ATU #998 voted 92% to reject a contract that attacked their hours and working conditions. He will address the impact of the austerity program being leveled against public services and public workers.
